Thank you for visiting. My goal for this site is to make available a free Book of Mormon for everyone who wants to read it offline or to send one by e-mail. There are three formats available: an executable for all Windows users, a PDF with navigation and bookmarks, and a single page HTML file also with navigation links. There are international versions available only in PDF. The Book of Mormon in these e-books are the official version of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If you like what you see please pass the link around to all your family, friends and everyone else. If you have any questions please leave a comment. I have a busy schedule so I will leave an answer as soon as possible.

Thanks. This site is becoming more popular. I have had a few good responses and no complaints, yet. I am curious about the crossword puzzle I created, though. I still don’t know if anyone likes it or not. Oh, well. I worked hard on making this site easy for everyone to use, both foreign and here in the US. I have just about run out of ideas for Book of Mormon related things to add to the site. I am always looking for more international sites and Books of Mormon. I really like your site, as well. Maybe we can get together sometime and chat or e-mail. Spread the word around about this site and send as many Books of Mormon as you can electronically. I believe this kind of missionary work has been needed to be done for a long time. By the way, you can add me to your site, if you want. And give the web address to anyone you want to, to add to their site.

The Church has audio files of the Book of Mormon available on the Church website. The files are free for anyone to download. They currently have English, Spanish and Portuguese available, and are working on other languages. Also, the Bible is available in audio files, and the Doctrine & Covenants.

I’m a very busy person, and was so interested in getting the BOM offline for my windows mobile. I found your site tonight, in response as a blessing for a decision I made, just before finding it. Thank you for your efforts! You are answering the prayers of many, I’m sure. I will use this link for friends and family in the future, because not only is it a great effort, done out of a good desire, but also it is a very well done, appealing site.
Thank you!!

Cindy, thanks for visiting the site. And, congratulations! I do hope that you like what you are learning about the Church. This is a wonderful Church, and I’m so glad that I found it! I don’t know where I’d be today without it. I have a testimony that this Church is true. That Joseph Smith was a prophet. That Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today. The more I read and learn, the stronger my testimony grows.

I think that would be a great idea. You didn’t say if you are looking at the PDF file or the Word file. If it’s the Word file, I would ask that you add my email and website at the beginning of the file, so that folks can visit if they want more information. I have spent a lot of time typing the text, and any errors are mine! This website and my website are not sponsored by the Church. Both Uft36 and I are trying hard to provide this service so that everyone will have access to the Book of Mormon, regardless of their language. The more ways we find to spread the word, the better.

There are a lot of people spreading the news about the Book of Mormon. It would be nice to have a place like this to help organize those who want to work together to coordinate their efforts. Some people may want to use a resource and need help from others about how to use that resource.
It would be nice to have a forum of ideas of how we can get the Word out.
It would be nice to recognize people who have been exceptional in sharing this wonderful Book of Mormon.
The title page in the Book of Mormon tells us that it is here to gather the lost sheep of Israel. (Something to that effect). As the scriptures say, the sheep will know the voice of their master. Let us help get that voice out there by organizing ourselves and by lovingly teach the truths in the Book of Mormon.

Can the Book of Mormon really be true… find out at http://www.mormonchallenge.com
If it is then nothing much really happens to Christians who say it’s eternally deadly…
But if The Book of Mormon and J. Smith are wrong then Mormans will be deceived into an eternity so horrific that defies human descrition. You’d really want to be sure about it wouldn’t you. I mean for me I wouldn’t even want my pride to get in the way of this one.
The Bible:
(Amos 5:8) Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
(Isaiah 43:10) Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
So it seems that the One God mad all the planets…
(2 Corinthians 11:13-15) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. (14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
May you find truth,
Peter

Peter,
Just so you know, Living Hope Ministries has been debunked and proven to be nothing more than hyped up grossly misinterpreted information about the LDS Church.
As such, it is Living Hope Ministries that is bearing false witnessing against God’s Truth.
Timothy Berman
September 14, 2009 at 12:07 p
Thank you for your comments, Peter. I do firmly believe that I have found the truth.
Joseph Smith was a very confused young man when he followed the words of James:
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” (James 1:5)
He went to the woods near his home to pray.
“I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me.
“It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spoke unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other — This is my Beloved Son. Hear Him!
“My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong) — and which I should join.” (Joseph Smith-History 1:16-18)
He was advised to not join any of the churches “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.” (Joseph Smith-History 1:19)
We are advised in the Book of Mormon to seek answers for ourselves. If you try this, you too, will know for yourself of the truth of the Book of Mormon:
“And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.” (Moroni 10:4)
I can testify to you that I do know of a surety that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God. And that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God.

Sheridan, I don’t have any handheld devices, so do not know if you can upload the KJV to it. All I can suggest is that if you wish, try it.
The Church website has many E-books available. They “use the EPUB and .mobi e-book file format for downloads. EPUB files are the most widely accepted e-book format and can be read on the Nook, Sony Reader, Kobo, and iPad. The Kindle uses a proprietary file format (.azw) as well as other formats, including the .mobi file. The .mobi files will also be available to download for Kindle readers.” You can visit http://lds.org/media-library/accessing-media-ebooks?lang=eng for more information on what the Church has available.

how can i download a copy of the bom using my netbuk? then save it on my phone?
aivanjael
December 16, 2011 at 5:34 p
Since I do not have a netbuk (don’t know what that is, either), and have no idea what type of phone you have, or how to save anything to a phone, I would suggest that you check the User Manual for each device and see if there are instructions on how to save things to it.
If a “netbuk” is a laptop, then you would download the file the same way that you download anything to a computer. If you do not know how to download a file to a computer, perhaps you have a family member or friend who can show you what to do. When I want to download a file, I pick the file that I want, right click on that file, choose Save As in the pop up menu. When the “Save As” pop up comes up, I then choose where I want the file to download, so that I can find it again. Then I click Save, and the file downloads.

I’m not a member of LDS but I got interest to Mormonisn, it’s like my soul since I know David Archuleta. I had saved it to my computer, actually, I don’t know why I interest to it. Though my family religion is Islam, but I think I still searching who I want to be later. But I do against and get away from some things that forbidden in LDS, such drunk and something like that, actually it’s forbidden in my country, Indonesia,
Laila
December 21, 2011 at 9:41 p
Laila, it’s wonderful that you are interested the LDS religion. I am unclear, though, as to what you saved to your computer. It’s always good to have an open mind, and to research other religions. Those who are open-minded are those who will find what they are searching for. As far as drinking liquor, I understand that it is forbidden in Islam, as well.
Please keep an open mind, and research the LDS religion, as well as your own religion. The more you know, the better off you will be.

I’ve been downloading one chapter at a time at lds.org to use in teaching Gospel Doctrine class – now I can do one copy/paste of the entire reading assignment or book, which saves me a lot of time. I download the lesson and scriptures in one document. I make a copy of the lesson and scripture in case I lose something, and then I begin deleting all that I don’t use My document can create handouts, quotes for class members to read, etc. It’s enjoyable to prepare the class and to teach is without moving back and forth from the lesson to another book.
For more information or a sample of my full and ending word doc, just e-mail daveh@ttol.com.
Thank you for your work!
