Go right ahead, if you want. And you can add a Book of Mormon to your site for people to download.

I just learned how to add images to my blog. I put the stripling warrior image on a poem. It came off of another blog. Then someone told me it is copyrighted. Is this copyrighted? Should I take it off of my blog?
I am going to add you to my links.

I am not positive, but I do believe that all the pictures are copyrighted. In order to get the correct answer, you should contact Intellectual Reserve. Below is what they say. I think that #3 applies to you.
Materials with copyright not held by Intellectual Reserve, Inc., or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are so labeled and the use of such must be handled through respective owners.
Use of all materials published herein, including, visuals, text, icons, display, database, general information, etc., is subject to the following conditions:
1. Materials may not be used for commercial purposes, however, materials may be reproduced by media personnel for use in traditional public news forums.
2. Materials may be reproduced for incidental, noncommercial church or home purposes with the exception of Web site use.
3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the copyright owner reserves sole discretion and right to deny, revoke, or limit use, including reproduction.

Just curious, how did you get the web sites from LDS.org into .exe format?

Just over 3 years ago I found this program developed by a member of the Church to extract the webpages off of the old LDS.org site using Python. I wanted an offline library that was easy to use. I could not find anything on the internet without paying a lot for it. I extracted the webpages and developed my own index and added other things to it like the pictures. I had an idea that I would give them out on cd’s or possibly on a website. Since I never did any kind of website I started out small with just the Book of Mormon. I liked the idea of an e-book so I tried several programs. Since I had so many web pages to work with I needed a free and simple program to use. The Website Viewer is the best free program that I came across. From there I was inspired to make the Book of Mormon available electronically for free to anyone who is interested and so this website was created for just that purpose. I was amazed that only one other person has done this before and she is the one who worked on the international versions and other documents on this site. The LDS library needed a lot of work and it still does so I put it aside for a while. I noticed a lot of people were looking for a free LDS library and so I did a new title page and put it up on this site using the same website viewer program as the Book of Mormon. I am currently working on a single page standard works library. I know that this is not the ideal way to do this project but again I wanted to make a very easy and simple to use library. Eventually, I will put this up on a website, also. I hope this answers your question.
