The Book of Mormon Project

Afrikaans, Tagalog, and Haitian Creole Book of Mormons now available only in Word Document format.  These are partially finished  versions.  Go to Susan of New York’s website for more information and for more international versions.

I thought I would do something fun for a change and created a Book of Mormon puzzle using the free crossword creator Eclipse Crossword. This is my first puzzle and I hope it is challenging enough for most adults. To play you must have javascript enabled in recent browsers or download the zip file for older versions. I am also including a printable version, with and without the answers, in HTML format and in PDF. Just print from your browser. All the links will take you to a free download site to download each file.

If you would like to create one and add it to this page, please leave a comment. It must be LDS themed and it could be from easy to very difficult. I will add a link to your blog or website along with your puzzle.  This is a great way to advertise your site. This page is visited just about everyday and is one of this blogs biggest hits.

The Righteous Men of the Book of Mormon

I just added the Norwegian Book of Mormon in PDF to the International page. If you know of any other international versions available online please let me know. Thanks.

I am looking for more international versions for people to download or view online. I would especially like Russian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Welsh, and Afrikaans. The Church published 176 versions so I would like to make more of these available on this site. If you would like to transcribe one into Word format or any other format it must be the official version and not a personally translated one. Please leave me a comment if you would to help. Thanks.

The Portuguese Book of Mormon in PDF is now available to download or view online.

I found this pamphlet today. It talks about how various New World people in ancient times worshiped a Great White God and their encounters with various early European explorers to these lands.

You can now read the Book of Mormon online at Scribd.com. You will need a flash plugin enabled in your browser. This Book of Mormon is exactly the same as the one found here at The Book of Mormon Project. You can embed this Book of Mormon on your blog or website plus download a PDF version.

I have partnered with Susan of New York in making available other Church publications through her website NYMormon. She has Gospel Principles, Lectures on Faith, Our Heritage, and Truth Restored in Word files as well as over 45 Church pamphlets, and various Church books. She also has D&C, Pearl of Great Price, and Articles of Faith in various languages. Go check out her site. She has done a lot of hard work making these books available online.

Added Italian, Dutch, Danish and French to the International page. Susan Of New York also found a Danish Book of Mormon audio website. If you know of any Book of Mormon audio sites out there please let me know.

I also added a Chinese LDS resources link to the International page.

I have now added 2 new languages to download: Spanish and German. Go to the international page for more details. I have more languages to work on and I will add these to download soon. These were donated to the project by Susan of New York. She spent a lot of years transcribing from printed international versions produced by the LDS Church. Every effort was made to accurately transcribe the books into these languages. If there are any errors made in any of these versions please leave a comment. Please visit her website and leave her a thank you note.

I also have added links on each page of this site to translate each one into four languages: Spanish, German, French, and Italian. I will add more when I have time. I don’t speak any of the languages so I don’t know how accurate they are but you should get the general idea of what each page is.
